• Resume text uploaded by the user
• Job posting content from WaterlooWorks

No personal information is collected beyond what the user voluntarily provides for analysis.

How Data Is Used

Resume and job posting data are used solely to analyze compatibility between the resume and job descriptions and to generate job-match feedback.

Data Processing & Storage

• Resume data is stored locally using Chrome storage.
• When analysis is requested, resume and job description text may be transmitted securely to a third-party AI processing service (OpenAI) for analysis.
• No resume data is permanently stored on external servers.
• Analysis results are not retained after processing.

Data Sharing

WaterlooWorks+ does not sell, trade, or transfer user data to third parties except for the purpose of generating AI-based analysis.

Security

All data transmissions occur over secure HTTPS connections.
